Lombard, IL – June 11 2025 – United Cricket Foundation proudly announces the appointment of Jeewan DeSilva as Consultant for its High-Performance Program, marking a breakthrough in elite cricket development in the United States.
Jeewan brings a wealth of experience, from his distinguished career as a first-class player in Sri Lanka to his elite coaching credentials as a Cricket Australia Level 3 coach. His proven ability to transform aspiring players into future stars through technical refinement, strategic mentorship, and skill-building programs will be a game-changer for the academy.
In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Jeewan will work with players on high-performance training providing mentorship and remote coaching via video conferencing sessions from our partner Australia Canberra Cricket Training Camp. This groundbreaking approach ensures that players receive elite guidance regardless of location, making high-quality coaching more accessible than ever before.
